Facelift
Aging of the mid-face, the lower-face, and the neck are caused by loss of volume and sagging of the skin, fat, and superficial muscle. Gravity, the loss of fat and bone volume, loss of tissue elasticity, and exposure to the environment, all play a role in these changes. Facelifts are designed to elevate and reposition the tissues that have fallen. Many different types of facelifts exist. Dr. Schneider prefers an approach that produces a natural appearance rather than a pulled tight look. 

The Mid-Facelift is performed through minimal incisions and is designed to elevate and correct the mid-face (that region of the face located from below the eyes to the angle of the mouth. It is ideal for the patient without heaviness in the jowl or neck.

 The M.A.R.C Facelift (musculo-aponeurotic repositioning and contouring) is ideal for the patient requiring rejuvenation of the mid-face, lower-face and neck. Necklift
The necklift is designed to eliminate sagging or fullness in the region below the jaw line and chin. The neck fat is contoured and the muscles are tightened to enhance the neck's natural beauty.

Browlift
The browlift rejuvenates the upper third of the face that may show signs of aging with wrinkles and sagging of the eyebrow.

Endoscopic Browlift’s allow Dr. Schneider to lift the entire brow through minimal incisions. This results in a brighter, more open appearance to the eyes.  An Open Browlift, though requiring a larger incision, may afford the patient the ability to lower the hairline while simultaneously elevating the brow. Both procedures take approximately 30 to 45 minutes to perform.

Volume is magic. If you look carefully at people in their 20's and early 30's, what distinguishes the vitality of their faces is the volume located throughout the face. This produces a fullness in the temples, in the cheeks under the eyes, and the area around the mouth. As we age, we begin to lose bone in both our upper and lower jaws and we also lose fat in certain regions of the face. This produces a hollowness in our temples, shows the bulging of fat pads below our eyes, causes the facial structures to sag, and causes ageing around the mouth. Volume revitalization adds volume to these deficient areas and helps restore a more youthful projection to the face. Two techniques are utilized: fat injections and Sculptra injections.

Fat Injections

Fat can be removed from some storage areas (belly, thighs, or hips) and then transferred to the areas of need. The fat is removed with microliposuction techniques. A very tiny, 2mm in diameter cannula is used to remove some fat from one area and then it is injected into the areas of concern.

Dr. Schneider likes to equate the removal of the fat as harvesting liquid gold because of the positive effects the fat transfer will have on the patients appearance. "Part of the aging process is that patients lose fat volume throughout their faces: their temples, around their eyes, and in the mid and lower portion of their faces. Some of this fat loss will accentuate their jowls, parentheses around their mouths, and marionette lines. Their lips may even get smaller. The fat harvested from another region can be meticulously transferred to these areas to create a natural, more youthful appearance" says Dr. Schneider.

Sculptra

Sculptra is a long lasting injectable that produces subtle results over time. It stimulates the body to produce collagen in the injected tissues to enhance a natural appearance. A full treatment typically consists of 3 treatments over a few months with results that can last over 2 years. Made of poly-L-lactic acid, Sculptra has been used in Europe for volume revitalization since 1999. The procedure is performed with a local anesthetic and a typically takes about a half hour.
